DataIM Vitality monitor

Shaping the Future of Local Sports Clubs Together

Children playing sportsDataIM works closely with municipalities and local sports services in the Netherlands and Belgium to monitor the vitality of sports clubs. We see the development of the vitality monitor as a co-creation: together with our clients, we develop the online questionnaire and set up the dashboard. This collaboration ensures that the monitor perfectly aligns with the needs and objectives of the stakeholders.

What does the vitality monitor entail?

The vitality monitor consists of an online questionnaire that maps out the foundations of a vital sports club. The themes have been carefully selected and include:

  • Structure and policy
  • Recruitment and retention of members
  • Finances
  • Volunteers & Staff
  • Safe and social sports climate
  • Atmosphere & culture
  • Facilities
  • Societal role of the club
  • Innovative sports offerings
  • National themes such as a healthy sports canteen, sustainability, and smoke-free facilities

Insight and support through a data-driven approach

The results of the questionnaire are made clear in our online vitality dashboard. This dashboard offers:

  • An overview of the general vitality of the sports clubs
  • Individual scores per theme
  • Detailed vitality reports for each club in PDF

With this data-driven approach, municipalities and local sports services can provide targeted support to sports clubs. Additionally, the dashboard provides insight into progress towards the objectives of the sports agreement. This enables continuous development and strengthens decision-making based on solid data.

Collaboration as the key to success

DataIM believes in the potential of co-creation. By developing the questionnaire and the dashboard together with the client, we ensure that the monitor fully aligns with the specific context and needs of the municipality or sports service. This joint approach not only ensures better alignment but also stimulates innovation and sustainable development within the sports sector.

The power of data-driven sports management

In these data-centred times, data-driven sports management is essential. By using solid data, decisions can be better substantiated, leading to more efficient and effective support for sports clubs. This contributes to a robust and future-proof sports landscape in which sports, well-being, and social involvement go hand in hand.

Investment for the future

We aim to set up the club monitor correctly from the start. This means that only a one-time investment is needed, after which you can conduct follow-up measurements at low cost. This ensures that you can continue to benefit from the insights and support the monitor offers in the long term.

Building a vital future together

DataIM invites municipalities and local sports services to join us in shaping the future of sports clubs. With the vitality monitor, you gain insight into the current situation and a powerful tool to work on improvement.
